Kartal Kaan Akdoğan (Alternate Member)

Born in Ankara. He studied at Bursa Uludağ University Physics Department and Düzce University Computer Engineering Department. He met CYDD as a volunteer young person at Düzce Branch. He served as Düzce Branch Youth Unit Facilitator in 2014-2016. He was elected as DU Computer Engineering Student Representative in 2014. During the same period, he pioneered the establishment of Contemporary Life Community at Düzce University and served as the founding Vice President.

In 2016, he served as the General Facilitator of Contemporary Youth Center Unit. During his time as the General Facilitator, he organized events such as Contemporary Youth Martyrs Memorial Meeting, Türkan Saylan Youth Congress, Türkel Minibaş Youth Summer Camp with his team and Headquarters Board. In 2016, he participated in the meetings representing the youth unit during the CYDD & KalDer (EFQM Excellence Model) application process.

In 2017, he became a member of Beylikdüzü Branch in Istanbul. In the same year, he started working as a workshop manager for the Coding Project at the Beylikdüzü Branch and Ferhat Şenatalar Contemporary Event Center. He took part in various projects and events at the Beylikdüzü Branch between 2017-2019. He was elected as a member of the Board of Directors of the Beylikdüzü Branch in 2019. He served as a member of the Board of Directors responsible for the University Youth and Informatics Unit at the Beylikdüzü Branch. During the same period, he also served as the Istanbul Coordinator of the Coding Project. He organized the Beylikdüzü Branch First Steps Youth Camp in 2020. He continued his duties as the Vice President of the Branch in the branch general assemblies held in 2021 and 2023. At the same time, he served as a member of the board of directors responsible for the Informatics Unit and Digital Transformation Project at his branch. He served in the organization committee of the Beylikdüzü Contemporary Youth Festival, the first of which was held in 2022 and the second of which was held in 2023.

He works as a Senior Software Trainer in a technology company and also provides software development services with his own company.

He is married and has a daughter named Güneş Saylan.
