The Association for Supporting Contemporary Life (ÇYDD) has been presenting Prof. Dr. Türkan Saylan Science And Arts Awards since 2011 and the story award for the year 2021 is looking for its recipient.

We all got together on January 14, 2022, where Prof. Dr. Türkan Saylan’s home is to give her name to this particular Arnavutköy street.

For the past 31 years the Association for Supporting Contemporary Life has been providing scholarships for students having difficulty paying for their university education.

In 1997 the Association for Supporting Contemporary Life wanted no girl left without an opportunity for education and we started the ‘I Have a Daughter in Anatolia’ project which has given scholarships to 91,183 students to date.

Büyük Uyanış Association (Büyük Uyanış Derneği) used our association’s logo on the posters of its Büyük İstiklal Yürüyüşü (Great Independence Walk) without our knowledge or permission.

We are starting the ÇYDD Türkan Saylan Remembrance Forest Project on a terrain near the Sivas - Ankara highway. The Sivas forest will have 2000 saplings in all.

Yeldeğirmeni Sanat (Yeldeğirmeni Art Hall) of the Kadıköy Municipality and ÇYDD jointly put together the Association for Supporting Contemporary Living’s End of the Year Concert. The performers were Tenor Aykut Yılmaz and the Polymnia Chorus.

Istanbul Kadıköy Branch ÇYDD Activity Center has been opened at its new Kozyatağı location.

The Association for Supporting Contemporary Life’s scholarship application dates for the 2021- 2022 new school term have been scheduled.
