WE ARE READY TO HELP!

we-are-ready-to-help The devastating developments in the disaster created by the earthquake, with the epicenter in Kahramanmaraş and which was strongly felt throughout the Southeastern Anatolia Region, continue to burn our hearts.

In the face of this great pain, we keep waiting for good news in our hearts and minds.

As the Association for Supporting Contemporary Life, we are ready to help get through these dark days together!

We have still not received a response to our application for permission to collect aid in order to urgently support our compatriots in the earthquake region with all the friends of Contemporary Life, with whom we have struggled together for 34 years and with whom we have always progressed as one heart under all circumstances.

But we are with you!

With our 122 branches, 21 thousand 607 members, 161 thousand 350 graduates, 23 thousand students, and more than 61 thousand supporters all over Turkey

We are ready to help!

As ÇYDD Headquarters and branches, we submitted our petition to the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) and the Governorship of Istanbul stating that we are ready to support the post-earthquake efforts. We also applied to the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Civil Society Relations for a campaign permit to collect and send emergency supplies such as blankets, clothes, shoes, food, etc. to the earthquake region.

We still await an answer.

Today, with the strength we receive from our youth volunteering to help, our students who are
willing to waive their scholarships with the declaration "I want it to be used to support the victims of disasters.", and from our supporters who put their hearts forward selflessly

We are ready to help!

We continue to work to be part of the solution to the earthquake disaster. We direct our volunteers and members who want to support the aid campaigns to the local governments.

We are determining the current situation and the urgent needs of our 3,600 students studying in the
earthquake region or whose families live in the region by working in coordination with our branches and non-governmental organizations. We started to provide 1,000 TL support to each of our disaster victim students.

We are determined to heal our wounds together.

As the Association for Supporting Contemporary Life, we feel the necessity of sharing and solidarity. We reiterate our demand as the association has had experience with similar disasters in our country since our establishment and that has established and managed container cities for disaster victims by working hard in the field during the 1999 Gölcük earthquake;

WE ARE READY TO HELP, WE ARE WITH YOU!
