We all got together on January 14, 2022, where Prof. Dr. Türkan Saylan’s home is to give her name to this particular Arnavutköy street.

The Beşiktaş Mayor Rıza Akpolat placed the street sign carrying the name of the unforgettable President of our association on the Arnavutköy street she lived on. Present at the ceremony were ÇYDD President Prof. Ayşe Yüksel, ÇYDD Headquarters Executive Committee members, ÇYDD İstanbul Branch members, Beşiktaş district heads of political parties, Beşiktaş City Council, Beşiktaş neighborhood representatives (muhtar), and Beşiktaş residents. 

We will always continue to carry on the name “Türkan Saylan” towards a contemporary future.
